Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cup cream 5floz/142ml
  • 4 tablespoons butter 2oz/60g
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 3oz/85g
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Fruit (strawberries, banana, raspberries etc)

Marshmallows

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a heavy bottomed pot.
  • Over low heat cook until the sugar has dissolved, do not boil
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer for 3-4 minutes
  • Take off the heat and whisk in the salt and vanilla extract.
  • Serve warm or store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
