This Easy 10-Minute Chocolate Cracknell is a dreamy treat that combines crunchy, buttery layers with a rich, velvety chocolate coating. With just 10 minutes of prep, you’ll create a snack that’s as fun to make as it is to eat.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups cornflakes cereal
  • cup golden syrup
  • ½ cup butter
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square cake pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Place the cornflakes in a large bowl.
  • In a small saucepan, warm the golden syrup, butter, cocoa powder and salt over medium-low heat until the butter is melted and the syrup is smooth.
  • Pour the syrup over the cornflakes and stir until evenly coated.
  • Pour evenly into your prepared cake pan and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until set and firm.
  • Cut into 16 squares and keep in the refrigerator in an airtight container until ready to serve. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
