How to Make Garlic Bread from Scratch

There’s nothing quite like the aroma of freshly baked garlic bread wafting through your kitchen. Ready in just 15 minutes, it’s the perfect side dish to elevate any meal or a satisfying snack on its own.

Ingredients
  

Roasted Garlic and Herb Butter

  • 1 recipe Roasted Garlic and Herb Butter

Bakery-Style No-Knead Ciabatta Bread

  • 1 recipe Bakery-Style No-Knead Ciabatta Bread or 2 baguettes

Instructions
 

  • Roast the garlic and mix together all of the ingredients for your Roasted Garlic and Herb Butter. Place in the fridge until needed. This can be made in advance.
  • Using a serrated knife, cut your Bakery-Style No-Knead Ciabatta Bread (or baguettes) lengthways.
  • Generously spread the Roasted Garlic and Herb Butter over each piece of bread.
  • Place on a foil-lined baking tray butter side up.
  • Broil/grill on low heat until it is lightly golden brown on top and sizzling, about 5 minutes. No need to turn the bread over.
  • Cut and serve while hot with my 5-Minute Pizza Sauce! It's best eaten the day it is made, but feel free to wrap day-old garlic bread in foil and reheat again in the oven.
